说到“选择”，有很多实用的单词，最常见的是 choice，指普通意义上的选择；option 指的是某个特定情境下众多选择中的一个；selection 通常指的是经过精心挑选出来的，比较出色的人或事物。今天学的 alternative 指的是可用于替代现有事物的另一个选择。
★ 由词根+后缀构成，再扩展一下：
1）词根 alter/altern/altru，表示“其他的，改变”，例如：
